Re: Paris Match Magazine survey - vote for Marilyn !
Results of the survey have been published in the issue of today.
Marilyn gets the 17th place between 60 pre-selected personalities, just after The Beatles.
The winner is Martin Luther King; Obama follows at the second place.
In a first time, I was disappointed by this 17th places, I wished she would be in the top 10.
After all, I think it’s a real nice result: she was in competition not only with other artists, but also with scientists, famous politicians, and great’s benefactors of the humanity.
Michael Jackson is 26th; Madonna is 41st and The Rolling Stones 50th.
It’s great to see that, not far than an half century after her death, she remains alive in the memory, and in the heart, of a lot of people.
